- SEARCH PROPERTIES
-
In the "Search Properties" panel you can define your property search by selecting
the property type you are seeking (office, industrial, retail, warehouse building
or land, or all types). The same panel gives you the option to specify the dimensions
of the desired space, in units of either square feet or acres. By default, the application
will show you properties for sale or for lease, but you can deselect either option
by unchecking it. You may also narrow the search to the city you are interested
in, or leave it set to ALL. If you know the street address you have the option to
enter the name of the street, or street number and street (no need to specify the
type street). Once you click Search, your results will display on the map with a
building icon and a number on its top. Scroll down the window to get a list of all
the properties. You can click on the building icon on the map to get similar information.
You may email the results or export them to PDF, Word, Excel or
Google Earth (KML) format by clicking the appropriate icon above the list.
If you click the
building address or photo in the property list, or the Details link next to the
building icon on the map, you will get details on the property. The details for each property vary and may include a photo, links to documents,
broker contact information, and other information on the property. You may email the details or
export them to PDF, Word or Excel format by clicking the appropriate icon above
the details.
Reports
The details panel
also allows you to obtain demographic and business reports for the area around the
property. To create a report, click the respective tab, enter the desired distance
around the property, and click the link to create the report. It may take several
seconds to generate the report, which displays in the same area.
Demographic Report: Enter the distance or drive time you want the report
to cover. Then click on the "Generate Report" button for distance or drive time
and a demographic report will be created. You may email the report or export it
to PDF, Word or Excel format by clicking the appropriate icon above the report.
To clear the report and map graphics, click on the "Clear Results" link at the bottom-right
of the map.
Business Report: Enter the distance around the property you want the report
to cover. Then click "Generate Report" and a report by industry category on nearby
businesses will be created. The map will display the circle area or driving area
covered by the report. Clicking an industry category expands it to display the individual
businesses in the category. These businesses are also displayed on the map with
icons. Hover over an icon on the map to display a popup with information on its
name and employees. Hovering over a business in the list will also display its popup
on the map.
Note that Word and Excel files are in Word 2007/2010 format (.docx/.xlsx). If you
have Word/Excel 2003, a link to install a converter is shown in the export dialog.
If you do not have Word or Excel, links are also provided to download readers for
each document type.
